On Friday, May 20th, the 7th graders traded in their usual roles as students for that of teachers, as they took our Kindergarten class outside for a less about Earth Science.
Kindergartners learned about the importance of earthworms to healthy soil and the delicate balance of life that makes up all ecosystems. The 7th graders solidified their lesson by having the younger students introduce new worms to the school garden located behind Lacordaire Hall.
The Kindergartners got a truly “hands on” experience with the worms and learned what it means to be good stewards of the Earth. Congratulations to our 7th graders on a lesson well taught!
