Kelly Miller ’23 is a QuestBridge Scholar!

After being selected as a finalist in the prestigious QuestBridge College Match Program, we joyfully share the news that Kelly has been matched with Washington University in St. Louis! The selective university, whose acceptance rate is just 16%, has offered Kelly a full scholarship that includes four years full tuition and fees, room & board, books, and a stipend for travel.

To put Kelly’s magnificent accomplishment into perspective, less than 10% of applicants to the National Match program received a scholarship this year. Out of over 17,900 total applicants, QuestBridge selected 5,613 finalists to be considered for scholarships, with 1,755 of those students receiving matches.

At Lacordaire, Kelly currently serves as the President of our chapter of the National Honor Society, Vice President of the Environmental Club, Co-Editor of Checkerboard (school newspaper), Co-Editor of Zephyr (literary magazine), Co-President of the Art Club, and Treasurer of Student Government. She is an inducted member of both the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society and the National English Honor Society. She also participates in our Choir & Instrumental Club as a flautist, and she is active on our Mock Trial team, all while maintaining an impressive 4.19 GPA.

In addition to her contributions to our school community, Kelly is an artist whose works span several mediums including painting, written pieces, drawing, and sewn pieces.

Congratulations, Kelly!
