Students Celebrate Lunar New Year

Current parents, Mr. and Mrs. Li took grades PK-4 on a magical journey from Newark Airport all the way to China to celebrate the Lunar New Year! Students learned about the inspired architecture of the Shanghai skyline, virtually experienced the city’s high-speed magnetic trains, guessed how many rooms are in the palace of the Forbidden City, and even watched baby pandas in panda school! Before heading back to class, each student received a beautiful red envelope with special surprises inside!

Thank you to the Li family and Mrs. Thornton for today’s magnificent visit. We can’t wait to do it again! We wish all of our families who will celebrate the Lunar New Year good luck and good fortune.

恭喜发财
