Support Laco

THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE LACORDAIRE FAMILY!

For more than 100 years, Lacordaire Academy has continued with its Mission: to deliver a challenging curriculum combining academics, athletics, appreciation of the arts, and community service to empower students to develop their own gifts and talents.

Now, however, Lacordaire has been faced with challenges that we never anticipated. The pandemic has shaken education to its core and in order to keep our community safe, we are being faced with new and expensive financial responsibilities.

While Catholic Schools around the area are closing, we are grateful to report Lacordaire’s community continues to thrive. However, in these unprecedented times the 2020-21 fiscal budget is a major concern. New expenses have cropped up due to COVID: PPE, cleaning services & supplies, and air purifiers. Whereas in previous years we could rely on our traditional fundraisers to bridge the gap between tuition and operational costs, in this time of pandemic we cannot.

We must rely on our donors. And that’s you. We are asking all of you to do your part. Our donors have been our lifeblood through the years, and we need you now more than ever.

When you donate to Lacordaire, you

Let the LEARNING continue.
Let the SOCIAL JUSTICE continue.
Let the MISSION continue.
Let LACORDAIRE continue.

At this extraordinary time, we are asking you to help keep Lacordaire strong. Any size donation is greatly appreciated! Only together can we triumph.

Please… stand with Lacordaire and donate today at ilovelaco.com.

With gratitude,

Megan Mannato

Head of School

HOW DOES YOUR DONATION HELP?

Your gifts support the Academy’s core mission to provide a challenging independent school education, rooted in the Catholic Dominican tradition that empowers and nurtures students. Your generosity directly sustains Lacordaire’s 100-year legacy of successfully preparing young people to succeed in high school, college, and life.

The Academy’s small class size, nurturing safe environment, caring teachers, warm sense of community, and strong values provide exceptional opportunities for students of all ages. Our success is measured daily in the ability to engage young people as self-directed, competent, and confident life-long learners and responsible citizens
