On Sunday Nov. 12th, two Lacordaire community members were officially received as Caldwell Dominican Associates. Creative Dramatics teacher, Alexandra Giorgio, and Board of Trustees Member, Anne Utley, have been studying for the past year in preparation to become Associates. Associate candidates have mentors who guide them through their Dominican journey.
Alexandra’s mentor was Lacordaire Director of Crisis Management and Facilities, Liz Owen, OPA. Anne’s mentor was long time Lacordaire Board Member and previous Lacordaire Principal, Sr. Mary John Kearney, OP. This weekend Alexandra and Anne affirmed their commitment to the Dominican charism, promoting social justice, and spreading Christ’s love everywhere they go. Anne and Alexandra join multiple Lacordaire community members who are already Caldwell Dominican Associates:
